Whatchamacallit: Sunny City Realisations

You're the devil, but anyhow the sun is shining.
I want to paint a thousand little devils,
you won't be recognized.

I'm the devil, I'll paint myself on the canvas, but
not next to you.
We'll be together amongst thousand pointy horns
and it won't matter what we did.

Tiny Etsian Feature: IV

It could be called unusual to do a feature on a recently closed etsy shop. But I've been wanting to write about this one forever, so, no restrictions! (...and also I'm keeping my fingers crossed that hopefully Kerrie will re-open again.)
Indeed there are not very many items in the shop of CRIMSON & CLOVER. But the few being displayed are as wonderful as can be. The selection consists of vintage and antique ('something at least a hundred years old') furnishings. Though it's not entirely the pieces themselves which make the shop as appealing as it is, but first of all the product photography. Kerrie Rosenheck shoots all of her arm chairs and bed frames and Regency lamps on her own rooftop in New York City. The setting and lighting is so atmospheric, that together with these carefully selected pieces, it always reminds me of the New York in The Way We Were.

And since you guys can't see for yourself now, I've included my favourite one of her pictures.

Whatchamacallit: X

I must do this,
I have to and I shall.

I should what I want
and I may.

I'd like to and I could
if I would.
